COLLABORATION OF SPANDAN AND SAVE FOUNDATION

October 2005 becomes the milestone in the history of Spandan, SAVE Foundation as well as HIV/AIDS.

In Sangli, SAVE Foundation has been doing wonderful work for awareness as well as rehabilitation of HIV patients.

They started new chapter Dilasha – group of homoeopathic physicians who are giving free services to HIV affected patients.

Inspired by their January 2004 visit to Spandan, Mumbai they decided to translate this holistic learning in practice. This resulted in to official collaboration of the two organizations for the benefit of doctors as well as HIV patients. Dilasha has registered almost 250 patients over last 3 years.

Faculty members from Mumbai regularly visits Sangli for clinical supervision as well as for academic activities

Dr. Prasad Kelkar, group leader for Dilasha is a coordinator for both the organization.

All these doctors have enrolled for foundations fellowship programme.
A course of 1 year.

Fellowship course has sharp focus on CASE CONCEPTS, what is required is to build up knowledge base, analytic & synthetic faculty & objectivity in the Homoeopathic Physician.

There are 5 essential units.

  1. On line guidance to clinical & academic work.
  2. Implementations of clinical protocols & instruments in the clinic.
  3. Spandan faculty visits at Sangli for clinical supervision & academic workshop.
  4. Visit by Dilasa Homoeopathic Physicians at Mumbai and their preparation and active participation in the workshops /seminars.
  5. Continuous academic activity by Sangli group during intervening period.
  6. A workshop – once in 2 month was kept at Mumbai, which was compulsory for all to
